UNO’s degree in electrical engineering offers two concentrations to bring a specialized focus to your course of study. A concentration in computer science immerses in the design of computers, computer system components, and advanced applications. If your interests lean more towards robotics, artificial intelligence, and audio technologies, then the department also offers a concentration in electrical engineering.

Whichever concentration you choose, you will be expected to complete a hands-on, project-based curriculum that not only includes a comprehensive selection of science, mathematics, and computer-related courses, but also access to state-of-the-art facilities and laboratories solely for the research and instruction of microprocessing, energy conversion, optics, and electrical and electronics circuits.
