In this culturally, ethnically, and artistically diverse city, you can get hands-on learning in a living laboratory. Our goal is to keep you informed of all events held by the college in the interest of furthering our mission in the community.

The College of Liberal Arts offers twelve undergraduate majors: Anthropology, English, Fine Arts, Film and Theatre, Foreign Languages, History, International Studies, Music, Philosophy, Planning and Urban Studies, Political Science, and Sociology. In addition, the college offers masters degrees in all of the above departments with the exception of Philosophy and International Studies. These include Master or Fine Arts programs in Film and Theatre, Creative Writing, and Fine Arts, a Master of Music program, Master of Arts programs in Arts Administration and English, a Master of Public Administration program, and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning program. The college also offers Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Political Science and Urban Studies.
