The department of Earth and Environmental Sciences offers programs leading to the MS and PhD degrees in Earth Sciences, Environmental and Coastal Sciences.


Specific graduate topics for research supported by the department are diverse, reflecting the diversity of the faculty, and include among others, Igneous Petrology, Geophysics, Aquatic Ecology, Geomorphology, Coastal Oceanography, Coastal and Marine Geology, Sedimentology, and Paleontology.
