Student Success Center

Welcome New Privateers! UNO wants to make your first year on campus memorable and special. First Year Experience (FYE) is designed to help you get comfortable on campus, connect with the University, and consider UNO as home. Look around. Get involved. Ask questions. And have a great first year!

What is First Year Experience (FYE)?

The staff of FYE is here to help First Year students at UNO. Transitioning to college can be exciting, stressful, challenging, and fun, and the first year is often the hardest. Our job is to help make sure that you make it through your first year, and into your second year successfully. If you have a specific question, come ask it. Don’t know where to start? Let us help point you in the right direction. One day you too will be a UNO expert. In the meantime, we’re here to help!
