Student Services

Student ID

A Student ID card allows you to borrow library books, cash personal checks, gain admission to athletic and social events, sell used textbooks, access Testing Services, and use meal plans. It's also handy for various off-campus student discounts such as free or discounted admission to area museums. You can get your Student ID card at University Computing & Communications, located in the UCC Building, Room 101-Q. Bring picture identification and have your student ID number available.

Student Health Services

The UNO Student Heath Services provides health care to all students, including disabled and international. The clinic is staffed with internal medicine / pediatric physicians, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and a health educator.

International Students and Scholars

The Office of International Students and Scholars provides comprehensive immigration advising, programming, and support services to all international students and faculty and their dependents. They also organize events for students and provide an orientation for newly admitted International Students.

Earl K. Long Library

The library's collection consists of approximately 800,000 volumes, and adds about 16,000 volumes each year. They currently maintain over 3,000 current periodical subscriptions, many of which are electronic journals.

Testing Center

The University of New Orleans operates a Testing Center in room 214 of Milneburg Hall. Information about the facility and tests offered may be obtained by calling 504-280-TEST (8378).

Counseling Services is available to all currently enrolled UNO students for a time-limited, but full range of counseling services.
