POSITION SUMMARY

The Records Management Assistant reports directly to the Coordinator for Records Management and is responsible for maintaining, updating and verifying the academic records.


RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the conversion of legacy records to the PeopleSoft Student Information System. • Responsible for uploading enrollment information to the National Student Clearinghouse database multiple times per semester and correcting any errors received in the process. • Serves back-up to provide assistance to the Coordinator of Records Maintenance with responsibilities that include but are not limited to processing of any grade changes, assigning student to academic advisors, conversion of any/all grades, posting advanced standing credit, posting bypass credit, late notifications of any additional UNO coursework and maintenance of Academic Standing and all other Academic Actions. • Provides support for enrollment and withdrawal processing. • Provides support for degree and enrollment verifications • Provides support for the calculation of Academic Amnesty, the manual application of action metrics, and the review of the application of all student transfer work. • Assists with front counter coverage as necessary. • Other duties as assigned.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree.


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree with one to three years’ experience in academic setting; Knowledge of PeopleSoft and Student Clearing House.


SALARY

Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
