Drug Rebate – Reconciliation Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY

(1 Position located in Baton Rouge)


RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive participating drug manufacturer rebate payments and enter into the rebate accounting system. • Scan and file payment documents appropriately after reconciliations have been completed. • Communicate issues and pertinent information to drug companies and staff members through written and verbal communications. • Compile monthly productivity reports that track current projects, achievements, and future goals. • Provide backup assistance to the Pharmacy Helpdesk Hotline in troubleshooting incoming calls. • Other tasks as directed.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or 6 years’ professional experience in lieu of degree. • Excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and time management skills. • Great attention to detail and follow up, and verbal/written communications skills


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree. • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in an office setting. • Professional experience in bookkeeping, health care field, or Medicaid program support. • Knowledge of the Louisiana Medicaid Rebate Programs. • CPT, ICD‐9 coding and HCPCS knowledge. • CHDA, HIM, RHIA, RHIT, HFMA or relevant industry certifications.


SALARY

Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
