Medicaid Support Contract


1 position located in Baton Rouge


• Work with project teams to create project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. • Manage assigned projects in accordance with the LDH Project Management Lifecycle. Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. • Assist the Project Management Office in the development of policies and procedures pertaining to the LDH project management lifecycle. • Work with program office liaisons to become familiar with the department's business processes. • Identify project resources and work with the Project Management Office to assign individual responsibilities. • Review deliverables prepared by the project team before passing to client. • Schedule and lead all meetings for assigned projects. • Procure and maintain the certification of Project Management Professional. • Conduct recruitment, selection, training, supervision, and professional development of assigned staff. • Conduct an annual performance evaluation for each subordinate, setting future goals and strategies. • Other tasks as directed.


• Bachelor's degree. • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in managing projects. • Experience presenting information to technical and non‐technical audiences. • Excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and time management skills. • Great attention to detail and follow up, and verbal/written communications skills.


• Advanced degree. • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in managing projects. • Minimum 1 years of supervisory experience. • Experience with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server or Microsoft SharePoint. • Professional experience with LDH information systems or programs utilized by the department. • CAPM, PMP, PgMP, PMI‐ACP, PMI‐RMP, PMI‐SP, OPM3 or relevant industry certifications.


Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
