Medicaid Support Contract



• Assist hiring managers/directors with the hiring of new full and part time employees for open positions which includes advertising the positions, routing the necessary forms, and completing and assembling the necessary hire packet documents. Coordinate paperwork for termination/resignation process for employees. • Assists the UNO Human Resources Department with any of the following functions: • The submission of UNO SharePoint forms, payroll certifications, and all additional necessary forms for full‐time and student employees annually or with each contract period. • Helping employees with HR paperwork, payroll documents, benefit documents and other work information as necessary. • Acting as a liaison for UNO MTSC employees with University offices and the contracts' point of contact. Maintaining and updating all HR, contract and confidential personnel files and documents. • Verifying and entering employee leave slips along with assisting with leave and/or FMLA leave related questions. • Reviewing and entering student timesheets for payment. • Assisting with any aspects of the hiring process which may include, but is not limited to, work related to the advertisement process, EEO assistance, and employee orientation. • Other tasks as directed.


• Bachelor's degree. • Excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and time management skills. • Great attention to detail and follow up, and verbal/written communications skills. • The ability to deal with difficult situations and different personalities in a diplomatic manner.


• Advanced degree. • Minimum 1 year of professional human resource or business management experience. • Knowledge of state purchasing, travel and hiring policies. • Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Business Management, or other relevant business field. • Business-oriented and relevant industry certifications including, but not limited to, PHR, SPHR, Six Sigma.


Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
