Application Support & Training – Coordinator 1

DEPARTMENT: Medicaid Technical Services Contract – Application Support & Training

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides technical support by diagnosing technical problems and identifying appropriate solutions through research. Assists in setup and support at various workshops and conferences. Develops, produces, distributes, and updates training materials in the form of guides, videos, PowerPoint presentations, etc. to DHH and UNO contract      employees. Plans, coordinates, schedules and presents training classes in person and via online meetings; may include travel to locations within Louisiana. Manages the Learning Management System content, serving Louisiana Medicaid and Application Center staff. Develops and maintains internal department documentation. Assists in      course development of special topics as defined by state officials. Adheres to and communicates policies, rules, and regulations relating to technology use. Researches educational resources for internal use. Audits and updates LMS user account information and runs ad‐hoc reports as needed for DHH management. Other tasks as directed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree. Excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and time management skills.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Advanced degree. Minimum 1 year of professional experience with technical training or content development. Professional experience with DHH information systems or programs utilized by the department. Previous      experience in public speaking, presentations and/or training environments.

SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
