Training – Coordinator 1 (Technology Trainer)

POSITION #: 0291 

DEPARTMENT: Medicaid Technical Services Contract – Training 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, produce, distribute, and update training materials in the form of guides, videos, PowerPoint presentations, etc. to DHH and UNO contract employees.
  • Manage the Learning Management System content, serving Louisiana Medicaid and Application Center staff.
  • Provide technical support by diagnosing technical problems and identifying appropriate solutions through research.
  • Plan, coordinate, schedule and present training classes in person and via online meetings; may include travel to locations within Louisiana.
  • Audit and update LMS user account information and run ad-hoc reports as needed for DHH management.
  • Assist in course development of special topics as defined by state officials.
  • Evaluate training programs and assess technical training needs for DHH and contract employees by survey, interview and participant evaluation; provide follow-up support and further training.
  • Assist in setup and support at various workshops and conferences.
  • Prepare required administrative forms associated with travel and material requisition for trainings.
  • Develop and maintain internal department documentation.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business or related degree.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience in public speaking and/or training environment. 

SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
