DEPARTMENT: Educational Leadership, Counseling, and Foundations

POSITION SUMMARY: The University of New Orleans invites applications for tenure track position in counselor education in a CACREP-accredited program that offers doctoral and master's degrees with specializations in school and clinical mental health counseling. The program is housed in the Department of Educational Leadership, Counseling, & Foundations.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The position entails teaching, research, service, and graduate student advising responsibilities. The position is nine months with opportunities for summer teaching.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Doctorate in Counselor Education from a CACREP-accredited program is required.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Desired qualifications include evidence of ability to direct student dissertations; expertise in quantitative research methodology; expertise in marriage and family, substance abuse counseling, and/or school counseling; experience as a full-time faculty member in a counseling graduate program.

SALARY: Commensurate with experience
