POSITION #: 7725
DEPARTMENT: DHH Technical Services Contract – Project Management

• Work with project teams to create project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Manage assigned projects in accordance with the DHH Project Management Lifecycle. Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
• Work with program office liaisons to become familiar with the department's business processes.
• Identify project resources & work with the Project Management Supervisor to assign individual responsibilities.
• Provide guidance and leadership to junior members of the project management team.
• Review deliverables prepared by the project team before passing to client.
• Schedule and lead all meetings for assigned projects.
• Procure and maintain the certification of Project Management Professional.
• Other tasks as directed.

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in managing projects.
• Excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and time management skills.
• Great attention to detail and follow up, and verbal/written communications skills.

• Advanced degree.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in managing projects.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server or Microsoft SharePoint.
• Experience in presenting information to technical and non‐technical audiences.
• Professional experience with DHH information systems or programs utilized by the department.
• CAPM, PMP, PgMP, PMI‐ACP, PMI‐RMP, PMI‐SP, OPM3 or other relevant industry certifications.

SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
