POSITION SUMMARY: The Computer Science Department at the University of New Orleans invites applications for a Tenure Track Assistant Professor position.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Successful applicants must possess a record of research excellence, and demonstrate strong teaching commitments to graduate and undergraduate courses. Application from all areas of computer science will be considered, but strong preference will be given to the general areas of cybersecurity. We are also interested in applicants who would complement existing research efforts in big data, bioinformatics, and scientific computing.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or related field.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.

SALARY: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
