Project Management – Coordinator 1

DEPARTMENT: Medicaid Support Contract – Project Managment

• Work closely with individual project leaders to identify, document and coordinate project tasks and timelines.
• Keep accurate records, create project plans, compile project status reports, and provide status deliverables to UNO management and DHH stakeholders.
• Coordinate project plans and specific milestones with external entities (DHH contractors, other State Agencies, etc.) as needed to ensure the success of projects with non‐UNO/Medicaid dependencies.
• Assist Medicaid staff in formulating a consistent approach in determining project requirements and scope.
• Act as primary project status resource to Medicaid and UNO management.
• Organize and maintain Medicaid project priorities' documentation.
• Assist in tracking unit progress and meeting time frames on various procurement documents being worked on.
• Edit, reformat, and/or standardize material prepared by other writers and/or other stakeholders involved in the projects.
• Collaborate and work closely with a wide range of other stakeholders to deliver successful proposals.
• Provide assistance with gathering and documenting business requirements for projects.
• Assist with meeting minutes, completing action items, coordinating meetings, and maintaining project documentation.
• Assist the supervisor with documenting departmental procedures and keeping the manual updated.
• Other duties as requested.

• Bachelor's degree.
• Excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and time management skills.
• Great attention to detail and follow up, and verbal/written communications skills.
• Ability to set, follow, and meet deadlines.

• Advanced degree
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in managing projects.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, SharePoint, Project, and/or Power Point.
• Experience reviewing and editing written content for product accuracy, and general proofing/grammar.
• Experience in presenting information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of Business Processes and Information Technology concepts.
• Professional experience in health care field, Medicaid eligibility, or Medicaid program support.
• GPC, CAPM, PMP, PgMP, PMI-PBA, PMI-ACP, PMI-SP, or other relevant industry related certifications.

SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
