Enrollment Broker Specialist

DEPARTMENT: Medicaid Services Contract – Enrollment

• Work within the managed care section to ensure issues related to the enrollment broker (EB) contract are addressed in a timely manner to ensure contract compliance and responsive MCO and member support.
• Communicate with statewide stakeholders to improve care delivered and to address Medicaid programmatic issues.
• Assist with monitoring the EB contractor's performance
• Assist members with issues related to EB linkages and accessing services and document issues so that trends and systemic issues can be tracked, reported, and resolved.
• Process disenrollment requests.
• Work duplicate member reports.
• Process Post-90 Day Transfer Requests.
• Serve as liaison with the HL plans, MMIS, Eligibility and System staff to address questions and complaints related to linkages.
• Perform other tasks as directed.

• Bachelor Degree, or 6 years of professional experience in lieu of degree.
• Excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and time management skills.
• Great attention to detail and follow up, and strong verbal/written communications skills.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environment.
• Works well both independently and as part of a team.
• Highly self-motivated.
• Able to independently initiate communication with stakeholders.
• Proficient in MS Office.

• Bachelor Degree in Public Health, Community Health or Healthcare Management.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience.
• 10 years of healthcare related experience.
• Professional experience in Medicaid program support.
• Professional experience working with insurance or Medicare.
• Experience in writing policy.
• Experience in reporting and statistical analysis.

SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
