DEPARTMENT: Biological Sciences

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Department of Biological Sciences, University of New Orleans invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR.

We seek an Integrative Biologist working in organismal, cell biology, organismal biology, or developmental biology.   We encourage applicants who use tools and approaches from diverse disciplines or multiple levels of biological organization, and whose research complements current interests in the department.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Successful candidates will develop extramurally funded research, contribute to the Integrative Biology doctoral program, and teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must have a Ph.D. and postdoctoral experience.

SALARY: Commensurate with experience.
