Records Management Specialist

DEPARTMENT: Registrar's Office      

POSITION SUMMARY: The Records Management Specialist will be responsible for maintaining student records and providing administrative support to the various functional areas within the Office of the University Registrar.


Data conversion from legacy records to PeopleSoft and Data conversion from hard copy records to PeopleSoft. Special applications to Academic Action to include: Manual computation of GPA, Manual computation of Repeated Coursework, Manual application of Grade Suspension, Manual application of Academic Amnesty, Manual application of Academic Action, Review and application of transfer work. Processes Grade changes with the computations, as listed above, enrollment withdrawal and cancellation processing, provide support for degree and enrollment verifications, run queries to identify and correct data inaccuracies. Other related duties, as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor's degree; strong computer; written and analytical skills.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree; certification in records management; professional work experience; experience in a university setting; experience with records management.

SALARY: Up to $26,000 and commensurate with education and experience.
