POSITION SUMMARY: Manages all business transactions for University Computing and Communications

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Advise UCC Management on budgetary issues, monitor spending trends for the department to identify potential problems and develop alternative plans, and finalizing departmental budgets and year-end-close out with Purchasing and Accounts Payable. Prepare complex financial reports in the area of expenditure reports, budget development, and revenue projections

Procure hardware and software, initiate, and maintain contractual agreements for hardware and software maintenance. Review and update contracts for professional services, rental agreements, licenses, software and hardware maintenance, and support. Generate and receive all purchase orders in PeopleSoft for UCC

Maintain Telephone Billing Master Journal. Generate Batch Files for Account Services to charge individual speedkeys for OTM monthly billing and for university cell phone expenses. Create interdepartmentals to charge departments for telephone and networking moves, new lines/drops, disconnects, etc. Distribute monthly long distance billing.

Manage/file all student worker paperwork for UCC. Act as timekeeper for UCC. Supervise all HR related matters. Manage front office personnel and operations. Manage UNO's campus maintenance contract for office machines, which also includes processing of interdepartmentals.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

Bachelors Degree.
2 years experience dealing with Accounts Payable and Purchasing.
Candidate must have excellent organization and planning skills as well as good writing and presentation skills.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience working with PeopleSoft and NVision.

SALARY: Commensurate with experience
