Office Manager

DEPARTMENT: Office of Research & Sponsored Programs

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and direct phone calls as necessaryNotify PI's of documents to pick up; Login and date all proposals, contracts, subcontracts delivered to ORSP; date stamp and deliver other mail; ensure outgoing mail is delivered;
Order office supplies, copy supplies, FedEx, etc.; Supervise filing system, from typing labels to retention schedule and data destruction process; Type check requests, reimbursements, purchase orders, honorarium, other internal documents for ORSP; Compose, compile and process correspondence, reports, bulk mailings, etc.; Log and follow up on documents; Supervise the signature of documents at UNO and follow up on status (contracts sent on campus for signature); Assist with newsletters, correspondence, event planning and execution; Assist with coordinating schedules, meetings, maintaining records (hard copy and electronic); preparing materials for meetings and events;
Time and leave entry and tracking; reconciling leave for staff members; supervise all employment paperwork for student workers from hire to termination; Assist entering proposals and awards in PeopleSoft; Assist with committee work as directed; Assist with wide variety of requests and inquiries; other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Bachelor's degree or 8 years full time professional work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

SALARY: Commensurate with education and experience.
