Assessment Coordinator

DEPARTMENT: College of Education and Human Development

RESPONSIBILITIES: Assisting the college as it prepares for NCATE accreditation. Responsibilities include:

Organize documents in electronic web-based format.Support faculty groups on the use of LiveText addressing accreditation standards; including assessment input.Collect assessment data each semester for dissemination to faculty.Assist administrative personnel in authorship of accreditation reports.Assist faculty groups in interpreting candidate assessment data to identify program improvements and edit reports.Assist in the development of applications for funding to support improvement efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required: Applicant must have a bachelor's degree in education or related field, one year experience with redesigned teacher education programs, and the ability to design websites.

Desired: A master's degree in education or related field and knowledge of LiveText software is preferred.

SALARY: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
