Grants & Procurement Support – Coordinator 1

DEPARTMENT: Medicaid Services Contract – Grants & Procurement Support

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as project lead for Grants and Procurement Support in corresponding with agency staff to determine proposal terms, deliverables, quality and document changes, and driving the RFP publication process forward. These duties include managing entire project lifecycle, including ensuring all agency and procurement deadlines are met.Serve as lead author for Grant and RFP development within Grants and Procurement Support. Meeting with knowledge-based experts to develop coherent, competitive Narrative and/or Statement of Work.Assist researching various topics based off request given from section or unit needing identified procurement services.Draft documents, based off research and text, located from similar state proposals and evaluate outcomes from implementation of said states requested services.Meet with various department personnel and officials regarding matters relating to the procurement process.Assist in tracking unit progress and meeting time frames on various procurement documents being worked on.Other tasks as directed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree.Excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and time management skills.Great attention to detail and follow up, and verbal/written communications skills.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Advanced degree. Minimum 1 year of professional experience developing or managing RFPs and grants.Professional experience in health care field or Medicaid program support.Knowledge of Business Processes and Information Technology concepts.GPC or other industry related certifications.

SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
