Project Management – Coordinator 2

(2 Positions - Located in Baton Rouge)

POSITION #: 7349 & 8326

DEPARTMENT: DHH Technical Services Contract – Project Management


Work with project teams to create project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.Manage assigned projects in accordance with the DHH Project Management Lifecycle. Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.Work with program office liaisons to become familiar with the department's business processes.Identify project resources and work with the Project Management Supervisor to assign individual responsibilities.Provide guidance and leadership to junior members of the project management team.Review deliverables prepared by the project team before passing to client.Schedule and lead all meetings for assigned projects.Procure and maintain the certification of Project Management Professional.


Bachelor's degree.Minimum 2 years of professional experience in managing projects.Excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and time management skills.


Advanced degree.Minimum 3 years of professional experience in managing projects.Experience with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server or Microsoft SharePoint.Experience in presenting information to technical and non‐technical audiences.Professional experience with DHH information systems or programs utilized by the department.

SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
