Contract Support – Coordinator 1

(Position Located in Baton Rouge)

 

POSITION #: 7350

DEPARTMENT: Medicaid Technical Services Contract

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist hiring managers/directors with the hiring of new full and part time employees for open positions which includes advertising the positions, routing the necessary forms, and completing and assembling the necessary hire packet documents. Coordinate paperwork for termination/resignation process for employees.Submit UNO SharePoint forms, payroll certifications, and all additional necessary forms for full‐time and student employees annually or with each contract period.Help employees with HR paperwork, payroll documents, annual enrollment benefit documents and other work information as necessary.Act as liaison for UNO MTSC employees with University offices and the contracts' point of contact.Maintain and update all HR, contract and confidential personnel files and documents.Verify and enter employee leave slips along with assisting with leave‐related questions.Review and enter student timesheets for payment.Review and submit travel vouchers and authorization to travel documents.Reconcile and submit monthly vehicle logs and maintenance checks.Track and purchase supplies and office equipment for the contracts' employees.Perform inventory management by managing, adding, transferring, and surplussing equipment. Act as lead in inventory review.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree.Excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and time management skills.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Advanced degree.Minimum 1 year of professional Human Resource experience.Experience in health care field or Medicaid program support.Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management.

SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
