Pharmacy Support – Coordinator 1

DEPARTMENT: Medicaid Technical Services Contract

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Troubleshoot incoming pharmacy calls from Medicaid recipients and providers through the use of LMMIS, MMIS, LAMedicaid.com and LaPrims.Educate callers on LA Medicaid pharmacy benefit billing and compliance policies.Assist with disbursing and reconciling manufacturer payments.Research solutions to resolving callers' problems and clearly communicate any viable options and/or solutions to problems.Track and log calls as required.Assist in analyzing drug rebate claims level detail and disputes.Route and transfer non‐pharmacy calls to the appropriate departments.Document all rebate productivity efforts in relation to resolving manufacturer disputes in addition to any monies recovered.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree.Excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and time management skills.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 1 year of professional customer service experience.Professional experience in health care field or Medicaid program support.

SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
