Freshman Orientation

All new freshman students attending the University of New Orleans are required to register for and attend an Orientation Program.

It is very important that you attend the earliest orientation possible! Orientation is the time when you schedule your classes. There are more options of classes earlier in the summer. So remember attend orientation early!

 

Fall Orientation (Two Day)

June 11-12, June 25-26, July 23-25, 2015

This two-day program will give new freshmen to meet other new freshman and get an in-dept view of life on the Lakefront Campus. Each student will be advised by an academic advisor and will register for classes.

You must attend both days of orientation to register for classes.

Spring and Summer Orientation (One Day)

Summer: May 20, 2015

This one-day program will give new freshmen an preview of campus life at UNO. Students will be advised by an academic advisor and will register for classes.

UNO Spring Testing

UNO's Spring Testing Program is an Advanced Standing Examination and Orientation program that offers you first choice classes and an opportunity to earn college credit by passing one or more examinations.
