Live & virtual courses are conducted primarily through web conference sessions facilitated by the instructor(s). These class meetings are held in real-time on designated days of the week, each typically lasting about 1-3 hours depending on the class.
Online courses are conducted primarily through the use of a learning environment called Canvas, and are primarily completed on your own throughout the week or in its entirety. These online courses typically include presentation videos from the instructor(s), readings and other resources, assignments, and discussion forums. Online courses do not require participation in real-time web conferences, but instructor(s) may hold office hours virtually via web conference as an option as their schedules allow.
Hybrid courses include a combination of learning activities to be completed on your own throughout the week, with scheduled web conference sessions led by the instructor(s). You will access learning materials and activities throughout the week on your own time, and participate in web conferences with your instructor(s) and classmates for periodic real-time discussions.
