Academic Common Market
Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering
If you want to major in a degree program that is not available in your home state, but you cannot afford the out of state tuition rate, the Academic Common Market may be your answer. Since there are only a few Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering (NAME) programs available in the United States, it is very likely that your home state has contracted with another state that does have a NAME program.
The Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering program at UNO is available for states which are members of the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB). Residents of the following states pay in-state tuition while they are enrolled in the BS in NAME program at UNO (Status of July 2015).
