Accreditation
The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) advances equity and excellence in educator preparation through evidence-based accreditation that assures quality and supports continuous improvement to strengthen P-12 student learning. The School of Education is accredited through Fall 2029.
The counseling program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).
The University of New Orleans is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate, masters, and doctorate degrees. The University of New Orleans also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels.
