Assistantship |
Graduate | A limited number of graduate assistantships are available each year on a competitive basis. Applicants should indicate on the UNO History Dept. Graduate Application whether or not they wish to be considered for an assistantship. Must be enrolled full-time (9 credit hours) and should not hold other full-time employment. Awarded on a competitive basis with primary consideration being academic achievement. |

Graduate | Tuition scholarships from the Graduate School are available on a competitive basis, generally open only to incoming students. Must be enrolled in the graduate program full time (9 credit hours), though exceptions are made for student’s final semester. Must fill out an application (available from the Graduate Coordinator at time of application for admission) and be nominated by the department. |

Graduate | The Windell Prize is awarded for the best MA thesis written during the prior calendar year. The winner is chosen from among students nominated by the faculty of the department. |
