UNO Class Ring Ceremony
In the month before each Spring Commencement Ceremony, the University of New Orleans Alumni Association hosts a Ring Ceremony which juniors and seniors with at least 75 credit hours receive their UNO official class ring. The ring is second only to the diploma as a symbol of academic achievement. Families, friends, and alumni are welcome to celebrate this milestone on the students' route to becoming graduates!
Graduate Toast
Graduates and their families are invited to attend a congratulatory champagne toast at the Homer L. Hitt Alumni & Visitor Center.
50th Anniversary Class
Every May the 50th anniversary class is celebrated at a pre-commencement brunch with President Nicklow and is recognized at the spring commencement ceremony.
