Students often view funding as the biggest obstacle to graduate school. But with different UNO's affordable tuition, payment plans, and some creativity, you can afford to get your master's degree.
- Scholarships: We are one of few universities that offer scholarships at the graduate level. You must apply for the Fall semester by March 15th.
- Graduate Assistantships: These positions can be in teaching, research, or administrative work. The best place to start is to contact your department and develop relationships with your professors.
- Professional Assistantships: These administrative positions include out-of-state waivers and a stipend. Start sending your resume around to the many departments on campus.
- Company reimbursement: Talk to your human resources department about what they might offer.
- Savings: It may sound simple, but with tuition under $5K per semester, you’d be surprised how quickly you can save up what you need.
- Payment Plans: We offer affordable payment plan options that break your tuition into 2 or 4 payments per semester.
- Loans: With a strategic plan and options like income-based repayment or public service loan forgiveness, you can manage your debt load once you enter the workforce.
