Interfraternity Council (IFC) Recruitment
IFC coordinates recruitment each fall to introduce interested men to its fraternities (Kappa Sigma, Lambda Chi Alpha, Phi Kappa Sigma, and Theta Xi). IFC Formal Recruitment gives potential members the opportunity to meet members of each fraternity. The fraternities decide which recruits they wish to invite into membership, and the recruits will choose which fraternity they wish to join. IFC formal recruitment will be held in Fall 2020. To register for IFC Formal Recruitment, please visit the main IFC web page or the Office of Student Involvement & Leadership (UC 222)..

National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) Fraternity and Sorority Membership Intake

Each NPHC group has different requirements for membership, and each conducts intake on its own schedule.

Several of the NPHC fraternities and sororities will hold interest/invitational/informational meetings or other events for prospective members.
None of the NHPC organizations allows first-semester freshmen to join. However, information sessions such as Greek 101 and NPHC 101 will allow students to learn about the general requirements for membership, what they should do in order to express their interest in an NPHC fraternity or sorority, and much more. They will take questions from the audience as well. Attire is business casual.
