Brian Beabout, associate professor of educational leadership and graduate coordinator at the University of New Orleans, has received the Willower Award from the Consortium for the Study of Leadership and Ethics in Education. The annual award is given based on the significance of research contributions.
Beabout, whose main areas of research are leadership for social justice, applications of systems theory and chaos/complexity theory to educational change and the phenomenology of educational change, was recognized with the award during the consortium’s annual conference held Nov. 21-22 in New Orleans.
