The University of New Orleans has been named a 2020-2021 Military Friendly® School in recognition of its commitment to helping military and veteran students reach their academic and professional job goals.

Now in its 10th year, the Military Friendly® Schools list sets the standard for higher education institutions to provide the best opportunities for veterans and their spouses. The list provides a comprehensive guide for veterans and their families using data sources from federal agencies and proprietary survey information from participating organizations.

Schools were evaluated within six categories: admissions and orientation, academic policies and compliance, financial aid and assistance, culture and commitment, graduation and career, and military student support and retention.

The 2020-2021 Military Friendly® Schools list will be published in the May issue of G.I. Jobs magazine. It is also available online.
