The University of New Orleans is accepting applications and nominations for UNO25, an initiative designed to identify, recognize and celebrate 25 high-impact businesses or organizations that are owned or led by UNO alumni. The 2022 class of honorees will be the third in the history of the initiative, which was launched in 2017 under the leadership of President John Nicklow.
“UNO25 capitalizes on something that is well known throughout the region—UNO graduates are virtually everywhere,” Nicklow said. “Our alumni help shape the economic, educational and cultural landscape of greater New Orleans and beyond. Our objective is to honor some the many alumni who are excelling in their industries. It’s a remarkable pride-building event that reinforces the value and influence of our institution and our graduates.”
Past honorees represent fields including engineering, education, construction, hospitality, accounting, finance, technology, marketing, publishing and the arts. The full list of past honorees is located here.
The honorees will be celebrated at a luncheon at The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans on January 13, 2022.
