University of New Orleans computer science student Courtney Harris has been selected as a program manager intern at Microsoft for this summer. The 12-week, highly competitive program will be held at Microsoft’s headquarters in Redmond, Washington.
The internship includes housing, transportation and a stipend.
“I am thrilled to have been offered a position as a program manager intern at Microsoft,” said Harris, who is from Baton Rouge. “I look forward to contributing to a company that impacts so many different industries worldwide … I can't wait to learn and experience as much as I can during my time there!”
Harris, a junior, began her internship search last August, after completing a rigorous summer research program funded through the National Science Foundation at The University of Central Florida.
