Voter Registration
The University of New Orleans provides several opportunities for all students to complete voter registration forms in conjunction with the 1998 Higher Education Act requiring all postsecondary institutions to make a good faith effort to distribute voter registration information to all students.
Many registered student organizations conduct Voter Registration Drives on campus throughout the year. Due to the sensitive information on the form, it is recommended that students verify that the Voter Registration Drive is authorized by the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership. It is not recommended that students fill out Voter Registration forms and leave the forms with representatives from off-campus special interest groups.
