Graduate Assistantship Opportunities
UNO-CHART seeks a graduate research assistant to work across multiple applied hazards research projects. Responsibilities will include conducting literature reviews, collecting and analyzing data, report writing, participating in team meetings with internal and external partners, etc.
To be eligible for the position, you must be enrolled as a full-time student for the Fall 2024 semester, be eligible to work in the US, and cannot be employed by another department at UNO. Dr. Bridget Bordelon, College of Business-Kabacoff School of Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Administration is looking for a Research Assistant (RA). The ideal candidate will be either a master's student or PhD student with strong oral and written communication skills, prior research experience, and the ability to learn quickly. Also, statistical knowledge (SPSS or even Excel), survey research (Qualtrics), and searching for journal articles and writing literature reviews is essential. In-state tuition could be possible for the remainder of Fall 2024 and spring 2025.

The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine maintain a database of more than 1,600 research opportunities and administer postdoctoral and senior research awards at participating federal laboratories and affiliated institutions at locations throughout the U.S. and abroad.
