Set Up Your UNO Email Account

Learn About Workday Student, our NEW Student Information System (SIS)
Workday Student is where you will register for classes, pay your tuition and fees, and more!
Once you have your UNO email account, you can use your email address and password to log on to Workday Student.
You can access Workday Student through your MyApps portal. Once you login with your UNO account information, you will find the blue Workday tile. Find your UNO ID#
Your UNO ID will be found on the main page of your student profile in Workday.
Orientation
UNO has a general online orientation that you can access here: https://www.uno.edu/nse.
The online orientation is listed in step 2. We recommend completing this step before the first day of classes.
The Graduate School will also hold a virtual orientation at the beginning of the Fall and Spring terms for newly accepted students. Be on the lookout for an invitation via email.
International students on F-1 or J-1 visas must attend an orientation held by the Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS).
Submit Your Immunization Records
All UNO students are required by Louisiana law to provide proof of immunization. Visit the Student Health Services website for more information and a list of FAQs.

Register for Classes
Advising is handled by your Graduate Coordinator whose name can be found on the graduate programs page here. Look for your program, click on it, and you will find the contact information of your Graduate Coordinator. If you have any questions, contact us at graduateadm@uno.edu.
Please note: Students must register for classes before any scholarships or Graduate Assistant waivers will be posted to the account. Only 5000-level and above courses count toward your graduate degree. Also, nine hours is considered full time in fall and spring.
Course registration will occur in Workday: Additional information about course registration in Workday will be posted on the graduate student resources page.
Get Your Privateer ID Card
While on campus, you can pick up your Privateer ID. This card allows you to access the UNO library and computer labs, attend athletic events at no cost and work out in the fitness center. You can also use your ID to set up a meal plan.
Pay for On-Campus Parking
You'll need a parking pass if you plan on driving to campus. You can pay online through Workday Student or in person at the Office of the Bursar. After you've paid, you can go to the Campus Police Office to pick up your decal. Be sure to have your car registration, proof of insurance and receipt of payment with you. Learn more here.
