Situated at the intersection of Leon C. Simon Boulevard and Founders Road, Lafitte Village stands as the University of New Orleans' housing facility tailored for married, family, and graduate students.
With a total of 48 one-bedroom/one-bath units and 72 two-bedroom/one-bath units, the community offers versatile living options.
Competitive monthly student rates of $810 for one-bedroom units and $910 for two-bedroom units make Lafitte Village an affordable choice in the area. The apartments are provided unfurnished, giving students the flexibility to rent or bring their own furniture.

Lafitte Village Amenities
Rental rates include:
- All units include full kitchen and external storage closets
- Courtyard amenities include a barbecue area and children’s playground
- Inclusive utilities (laundry machine costs covered by rental rates)
- Internet services/Wifi provided through the UNO network system
- Maintenance staff provided by the University and affiliated contractors
- Parking available in the Lafitte Village lot; residents must register for a parking decal each semester through the Residential Life app.
- Security camera system monitors exterior, common, and parking areas
- Exclusive access to community entrances granted only to Lafitte Village residents.
