Guest Registration Process & Policies
- Pontchartrain Hall residents may register up to 2 guests during the Mardi Gras period.
- Guest(s) must be at least 18 years of age while a guest. Minors are not allowed.
- The online pre-registration form must be completed by 4:00 PM, Tuesday, February 6, 2024.
- Late registrations will begin at 4:00 PM, Tuesday, February 6, 2024 - 12 PM Friday, February 9, 2024.
- Guests must have prepared a photo identification (state ID, driver's license, or passport) to be recorded by the Office of Residential Life.

Forms completed by 4:00 PM, Tuesday, February 6, 2024 has a charge of $50/guest

Forms completed after 4:00 PM, Tuesday, February 6, 2024 - 12 PM Friday, February 9, 2024, is considered late with $75/guest charge.
- Unregistered guests will incur a $75 fine and Code of Student Conduct sanctions.
- All charges are non-refundable.
- Residential Life staff will issue a wristband to registered guests; replacements cost $50.
- Guests must depart by 9:00 AM on Wednesday, February 14th, 2024.

Residents are accountable for their visitors and must ensure compliance with the University of New Orleans, Office of Residential Life, and Office of Student Accountability regulations. Violations will be referred to the Office of Student Accountability, leading to potential consequences such as loss of guest privileges, housing probation, housing termination, and other applicable sanctions outlined by the University. This may also involve the removal of your visitor(s) from the building, and no refunds will be issued for visitors removed from the premises.
Mardi Gras Guest Registration Hours of Operation
Once you have been approved, the and their guest(s) must come to the Office of Residential Life in person at Pontchartrain Hall North N128 between the hours of 8:00 AM until 4PM Monday - Friday to receive their guest wristband(s) and/or if there is any assistance needed with the registration process. After these hours, the process will continue at your respective front desk.
Residents will NOT be given wristband(s) for their guest(s) without their guest(s) present with them. Residents should plan their travel plans accordingly with their guest(s).
