Christie Lacy is from a small town, deep in the Piney Woods of East Texas. She earned her B.A. in English from the University of Saint Thomas in Houston, Texas after having moved across the country at least twice. Christie earned her M.A. in English from UNO and, having enjoyed the experience so much, has chosen to remain in a place where reading and writing is encouraged and enjoyed. She studies liminality and speculative fiction and has a soft spot for unicorns, dragons, ancient mythologies, and Thomas Hardy. She also still has a slight crush on Mikhail Baryshnikov, a holdover from her ballet days.
