Budgets & Subawards
Congratulations on your funded proposal—now it's time to work on your project! Once you begin conducting your research, changing needs and circumstances may require changes to your budget. You may even need a subaward or vendor agreement. We can help you direct your funds appropriately and will assist you with any new development.
Compliance & Safety
The UNO Office of Research is responsible for safeguarding the integrity of the research conducted in our community, and we require that all principal investigators comply with all laws and regulations applicable to the project and to the university. These ethical requirements can range from export control and biosafety to conflict of interest disclosures.
Closeouts & Extensions
Your grant contract will require that the work be completed within a set time. When you reach the deadline, you'll need to begin the closeout process or apply for an extension. Contact your service team for help—your research administrator will assist you with extension requests; your grant administrator will guide you through the closeout process.
