Greetings from the Dean of Students
Welcome to the University of New Orleans!
I'm thrilled to be your Dean of Students and to support you in your academic, personal, and professional journey as you navigate your way through life both in and outside the classroom here at UNO. Our student affairs team is made up of experienced, caring, and talented individuals who are dedicated to ensuring you have a dynamic and fulfilling college experience.
I strongly encourage you to get involved in clubs and organizations, take part in various university programs, and, whenever you need it, make use of all the support resources that are available to you. Your time at the university is about much more than just classroom learning; it's also about growing through experiences in study groups, workshops, club meetings, or one-on-one conversations.
We understand that students sometimes aren't sure where to turn when they need help or have questions. Please know that our office is here for you whenever you need assistance. Whether it's related to medical concerns, financial resources, community support, or anything else that's impacting your college experience, we're here to provide guidance and support.
I'm looking forward to seeing you around campus, and I want to emphasize that you should never hesitate to reach out for our support. Feel free to drop by our offices or email us at any time to discuss your interests, concerns, suggestions, or questions. We want to help you make the most of your college experience; we want to hear from you!
Go Privateers!
