These groups display, perform, & celebrate the arts, such as the Comedy Club, ENCORE, or the UNO Playwrights Festival.

Acoustic Soul of Sound & Entertainment

Purpose: To compose music stylings that consist of beat making, lyrical composition, in depth editing of musical compositions, and overall musical entertainment. To provide intro level knowledge of music production and song writing for members who want to gain more access to the music field. 

Art and Design Society

Purpose: To provide a community to UNO students and faculty interested/pursuing careers in the arts. Through social and educational events, ADS strives to support and be an asset to the Fine Arts department.  

Comedy Club

Purpose: To establish an academic community where all Art History majors may share ideas, and help one another in preparing for the future beyond the bachelor’s degree.

Encore

Purpose: To enlighten and expose upcoming music and performing artists to a wide array of audience members from friends and family to potential agents and figures within the entertainment industry.

Music

Purpose: To unify and support on and off-campus musicians and the betterment of UNO's music and arts programs and facilities. 

New Orleans Civic Symphony

Purpose:  To provide the opportunity to local musicians to play symphonic music, and to play at the highest level possible for their audience.

Playwrights Festival

Purpose: To promote and produce the work of UNO playwrights.

Young Poet Society

Purpose: To create an environment where young poets write and share poetry.
