Political Interest

These groups are committed to supporting a political interest, goal, or party, such as the Young Democratic Socialists of America or Young Americans for Liberty.

UNO College Democrats

Purpose: To support the Democratic Party, promote political interest, provide avenues for students to get involved in government, and foster enjoyable mediums for students to appreciate politics.

Young Americans for Freedom at the University of New Orleans

Purpose: To promote an open, civil discourse and provide a platform for the exchange of free ideas regarding the political, economic, and social topics of our world.

Young Americans for Liberty

Purpose: To provide an academic as well as social organization encouraging knowledge of all aspects of the field of Conservatism and Libertarianism and also as serving as a community of interest and activity for its members.

Young Democratic Socialist of America

Purpose: To educate and organize students, faculty, and staff, and to play a helpful and principled role in the movement for social justice. We seek social revolution which extends democracy into all aspects of life -- social, political and economic.
