All tables and chairs needed for patio, terrace or plaza events must be requested through the UC scheduling office. Only UC staff members are allowed to move furniture outside. If the University Center cannot provide the adequate tables, chairs or trash cans needed for a specific event, the sponsoring organization must submit a request to Facility Services to rent the needed equipment.

Outdoor Areas at the University Center
The University Center is happy to host events in our outdoor areas – The North Patio, North Terrace, South Terrace, and Washington Oak Plaza located between the UC and the Recreations & Fitness Center.
When scheduling events at an outdoor location, the possibility of rain must be considered. Will the event be cancelled completely? Can an alternate date be selected? Is an alternate location available? Regardless of the final outcome, these factors must all be considered and arrangements made at the time of the initial schedule request.

Promotional Tables
A table and 2 chairs may be requested for placement on the North Patio or North Lobby interior for various events. Organizations are requested not approach anyone, but let it be the choice of the person to come to the table. A table may be reserved for a maximum of 5 consecutive days. To reserve a promotional table, call the University Center Scheduling and Reservation Office a minimum of 3 business days prior to your event.
Promotional Tabling are for University Departments and Student Organizations recognized by Student Involvement and Leadership.
Promotional Tabling is limited to 2 hours at a time.
