On Campus Housing Rates
The University of New Orleans requires all residents of Pontchartrain Halls to purchase a meal plan. Please make sure to incorporate meal plan costs as well as fees and deposits.

Pontchartrain Hall Application Fees and Deposits
Application fee and security deposit are submitted at time of application. Security deposit will be refunded less any damage charges and/or outstanding balances owed to the University. Damages in excess of the security deposit will be billed to the resident's student account.

- Refundable Security Deposit $250.00
** Fall 2024- Spring 2025 Pontchartrain Hall application fees are waived for UNO students.

Summer Only $1125 All declining balance The 14th class day is the final day to make any changes to meal plans for the Fall and Spring terms. The 7th class day is the final day to make changes to summer meal plans for the summer term.

Unit Cost 1-Bedroom Student $830 per month 1-Bedroom Faculty/ Staff $870 per month 2-Bedroom Student $935 per month 2-Bedroom Faculty/ Staff $985 per month Monthly rates include utilities, cable, laundry, and wifi services. Monthly rent is due by the 15th of the month. A $35 late fee will post to residents' accounts who have not made payment by the 15th of the month. Additional late fees may apply according to the Bursar's Office Schedule.
