Housing
In Montpellier, students will be housed in single studio apartments located across the street from the university (where we utilize classroom space and the cafeteria). Our student apartments are located across the street from the Montpellier SupAgro. The apartments are simple and can accommodate only one person in each, so there are no room-mates for the housing in Montpellier. Students have a kitchenette, which includes a separate sink and double burner, as well as a micro-fridge/freezer. Each apartment has its own bathroom and shower as well. Rooms are not equipped with A/C, but students can rent a fan from our office (depending upon availability) or pick one up at the local mall for about 25 euros.
As soon as students arrive at the dorms in Montpellier, they will be given linens and pillows. They will also be able to "check out" any of the kitchen equipment that we keep in storage throughout the year (pots, pans, coffee mugs, plates, cutlery, etc.). Many students will find that this is enough to help them cook throughout the summer, and they won't need to purchase any other supplies for their kitchens. These items are issued on a first-come/first-served basis.
